Versus

If there is one thing that we have learned from the movies, it is that humanity will eventually be destroyed by a technological advancement that cannot be contained. The two most likely scenarios, as we at RvD see it, are that we will be destroyed by either a race of super-intelligent robots, or by a swarm of cloned dinosaurs. For reasons too numerous to detail here, we have dismissed all other auto-destructive scenarios (weather machine, nuclear destabilization of Earth's molten core, gentically engineered super-virus) as either too far-fetched or too boring to address. What we DO want to address are the following questions:

1) Which will destroy us first -- robots or dinosaurs?
2) How imminent are the robot and dinosaur threats?
3) Would we as humans have a better chance fighting robots or dinosaurs?

And, of course, the most important question of all--

4) In the wake of humanity's destruction, when robots and dinosaurs no longer have a common human enemy, they will engage in an epic battle for world supremacy. Which side will win?

These may all seem like easy or perhaps even silly questions. However, we at RvD believe that you ignore them at your peril. If we do not address the robots vs. dinosaurs issue now, we may not get another chance.
